If we want to be spiritual, then, let us first of all live our lives. Let us not fear the responsibilities and the inevitable distractions of the work appointed for us by the will of God. Any religious or political regulation that creates separation and discord among us humans is not to be respected, not to be honored, regardless of its source. The Law of the Heart, the Oneness we affirm in Love, takes precedence over all other law, be it religious or political. Either we serve Love above all, or we bow before a lesser altar. We cannot have it both ways. We choose, with each thought and act.
